Furry Friend Network seeks Prizes for Annual Run

BOILING SPRINGS, Pa. (June 1, 2010)-- Furry Friends Network (FFN) is holding its 5th annual Race for Their Lives on September 18, 2010 at Gifford Pinchot State Park located in York County. FFN is seeking prizes and sponsorship for the 5K trail run and 2 mile fun walk that helps raise desperately needed funds for veterinary care provided to the animals in the FFN program. All contributions are welcome - financial sponsorship, gift cards, gift basket items, food donations, and other in-kind support are greatly appreciated. FFN is also seeking the use of a one-week vacation home/time share to offer as a grand prize for this even. Contributors should contact Robin Scherer for event details or to arrange contribution by emailing furryfriendsnet@aol.com. For details relating to the event, please log on to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com.

Contributions will directly benefit animals in found in the all-volunteer, foster network. Given the difficult financial time, the number of stray animals and those surrendered by their families sadly stands at an all time high.

Founded in 2001, FFN is a local, all-volunteer, all-breed animal rescue organization. A 501(c)3 charitable organization, FFN relies on private donations to help fund rescue operations and accomplish its mission – to save lives, one animal at a time. Since its inception in 2001, FFN has facilitated the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of close to 3000 animals. If you are thinking about adding a new feline or canine member to your family, please consider adopting a rescue or shelter pet.
