Merry

Merry was just another one of the thousands of little black labs that end up in shelters every year. Often over looked because there are so many, this sweet dog got a chance at life because FFN was lucky enough to have some nice applicants looking for a female black lab mix. Merry rode on a 16 hour transport to make it safely to PA. Poor girl was very, very sick and spent the first several days in quarantine. She got better and her foster mom could tell this was one special dog.

Tom, her new Dad also had some trials along the way with his own health, but he knew he wanted this dog for his new buddy. He had just retired and now had the time to devote to a canine companion. Sounds like a match made in Heaven.

So one cold rainy day, Tom drove to Carlisle to pick up his new girl.... the rest is as follows.
