Hi Gina and Kevin, I wanted to drop you a line and say congratulations. Mommy told me you got married!! That is so exciting! Now you have a forever bond, just like I have a forever home. I'm really really happy in my forever home, mommy and daddy love me so much. I get to sleep in bed with them and since I love to cuddle, that makes me very happy. I also get to play with my sister Hattie, she likes tug of war. I didn't know what that was for a while, but she finally taught me. I like to play chase, but she doesn't like that as much. That's ok, now I play chase with my brother Westbrook. Course, he's apparently a cat so I guess I have an advantage. I really like playing with him thought, I love to chew on him! Sometimes we wrestle as well. For a little cat, he sure is tough! Sometimes I want to chew on him while he's eating, but mommy always makes me stop. Aphrodite and Jedi don't like playing too much with me, Jedi's been scared of me ever since I arrived, but he's finally coming out more so that makes me happy. I'm just so excited to hang out with him!! I've been doing really really well, mommy already thinks I'm perfect... boy, do I have her wrapped around my paw! Mommy and daddy took me to Doggie U and I graduated from Basic Obedience! Now, mommy and daddy are taking Hattie and me to the next level classes next week, but they're private lessons which is very exciting. I of course love all the attention! But it's ok to share with Hattie. When people come over, they are all very impressed with how good I am. I want everyone to know how good it is to rescue doggies so I want to always make sure I'm on my best behavior. A little while ago I was having minor seizures, the vet said they weren't real seizures because I didn't lose control of my bowels or bladder. But mommy and daddy sure were scared and upset! They took me right in and I definitely did not like that visit to the vet! She wanted to draw my blood, well forget that. As soon as she started to squirt me with alcohol, I freaked out and squealed as loud as I could and tried to bite her and the vet tech. Hmmm... didn't get me as far as I wanted, they put a muzzle on me! It was very very scary, I didn't know what was going to happen. Mommy and daddy were right there with me so I felt a little better. It didn't really hurt too much having my blood drawn, but I'll never tell anyone. I want them to think it was awful so they'll give me lots of love! Anyways, my liver enzyme was a bit elevated (other than that I was perfect of course!). So the vet thought I needed to eat a prescription food. She thought that my liver just wasn't breaking down my food all the way which was causing these episodes. So now I get to eat a really yummy prescription food and I'm all better! It's only been a couple weeks, but I really do feel better already. Mommy and daddy must really love me, I get special prescription food! So does Jedi, but his food is a little different, it's much smaller. I also get to have oatmeal in my food every other day because I have problems expressing my anal glands. Hattie was jealous so now she gets oatmeal whenever I do even though she doesn't need it. I hope you and Kevin are doing really well. You were such wonderful foster parents and you are the ones who really rescued me. I knew that once I was with you I was safe and that everything would be ok. It's so wonderful that there are people like you in the world. How are all the other doggies? Mommy also told me that you adopted Lucky, he's so lucky :-) All doggies deserve a forever home. I hope to see you and Kevin really soon. Mommy said I might get to see you when I have my picture taken with Santa. I'm very excited about Christmas, mommy has been talking about it already and it sounds like it's a great time. Plus Hattie told me she gets lots of treats, toys and other fun things at Christmas every year. So I can't wait! I keep hoping it's soon! Congratulations again on getting married! Love, Thumper
