Dear Humans/Furry Friend at the Furry Friends Network,

     I just thought I’d take a quick chance to drop a line to let everyone know how wonderful my new home is!  When I first got there, I couldn’t stop sniffing around all the time, I found so many fun things… first I found a big brother Basset named Kramer.  I adore him and especially love how his long ears feel against my puppy teeth while I’m laying on my back.

     Then I found a kitty cat named Shawnie.  He was older, I think, and didn’t really play with me, but he sure was nice!  My food-slave Mommy told me that Shawnie had to go to some bridge and I’d play with him again one day…  I miss the kitty, but I’ve still got so much more exploring to do.

     Every now and then I get a whiff of some other animal… I think Mommy said it was a bunny named Norton.  Once I ran through Mommy’s legs and got out to his pen… He stood up and I swear he was as big as a house.  It didn’t take me long to run behind Mommy and let her hold me back from protecting her!

     Daddy loves to play with me.  We have so much fun and Kramer always joins in, too!  Daddy says Kramer came from a place where animals are rescued, too!  Daddy sneaks me treats and thinks Mommy doesn’t know it, hehe.  Little does he know I sell him out for Mommy kisses and hugs.

     Mommy and Daddy keep calling me ‘no’.  I think I like the name Samwise better.  When they say that they always sound so proud of me!!  Oh well, I try my best to be called Samwise.  I’m hearing it a lot more often lately!  Sometimes when I want to have just a bit of fun, I hide my chewed human delicacy (socks) under Kramer.  Then he gets called ‘no’.  hehe  It’s fun having a brother!

     Well I’m going to get going.  I need to take a nap!!  Or play!!  Or eat!!  Or chew on my piggy ear!  Something!
