David Hoover and Kathy Wells have always liked
to have a lot of pets. Dave has a special
fondness for yellow kitties. His yellow cat
Goldie lived to be 18 years old but died in
2002. In 2004, they got another yellow kitty
(in addition to the two cats they already had).
Sadly, that kitty died after only ten months.
Dave and Kathy decided maybe the two cats they
still had should be enough kitties. That was
until they saw the picture of Ross and Colton
featured in the pet section of the Sunday paper
in April. What's the only thing better than one
new yellow kitty? Maybe two new yellow
kitties! They applied for Ross and Colton, and
the two of them moved to Dave and Kathy's home
in Mechanicsburg on May 5.
They are doing very well in their new home and
get along well with the other cats. Ross is no
longer afraid of their dog, Nestle (who was also
listed with Furry Friends Network), although
Colton is still unsure about the dog.

In this picture, from left to
right, are Ross, Velcro, Patches, and Colton.
