Dear Robin and Furry Friends Volunteers:
We recently celebrated the 1st birthdays of Hans
and Gabby and wanted to share a picture of them
with you.
We broke out Elmo hats, sang Happy Birthday and
the pups enjoyed their very own Frosty Paws while the rest of the family enjoyed
miniature Happy Birthday ice cream cups from Dairy Queen. Of course,
their birthdays could not go by without some new squeaky toys! Hans and Gabby
have been in our family for six months and they have brought so much joy into
our home. Our bond with them was instantaneous and it grows BIGGER each day.
There is nothing better than hearing all the extra giggles around the house because
the puppies are doing something wild and crazy to get the kids laughing! We finally
feel like we have a complete family. Thankfully after some unfortunate experiences
in our past with prior pets, our boys, Carson and Alex, have finally been able
to share a closeness with their very own puppies. We could not imagine our lives
without them. We had an AWESOME summer with them on all of our camping adventures.
What a pair of troopers. They loved spending every waking minute with us and
vice versa. We thought it was a tight squeeze in our camper before
they
definitely made sleeping quite an adventure!!
Now that school
has started, they love greeting the boys every day
at the end of our driveway when the school
bus stops. Ears go up and tails start wagging
when they hear the bus coming. They hear it way before they can even see
it. What a joy to watch the boys get kissed to death
when they are greeted by Hans
and Gabby at the end of each school day.
Recently
they visited the vet where Hans weighed in at 85.5 lbs
and Gabby at 67.5 lbs. Needless to say
they are quite
"healthy."
We cant thank you enough
for giving us the opportunity to have Hans and Gabby as part of
our family. Now that we have them, we couldnt imagine
our lives without them. They have definitely completed us.
