HI MY NAME IS BEAU!

I was born almost two years ago in Parkersburg, West Virginia.  In my first home I knew that I was loved.  I learned about the potty thing.  I knew how to sit and shake hands on command.   I was well taken care of.  I heard many people say what a good boy I was and what a great personality I had.

Then one day, around Valentines Day I ended up in a shelter.  I wasn’t sure what I did to end up in this animal jail.  But I knew unless I found a forever home I would be put to sleep.   I saw many of my friends and cellmates being walked down the long hall – not knowing whether they were going to forever homes or the gas chamber.  All I knew is that I would never see them again.

Then one day it was my turn to take this long walk.  I was not sure where it would lead me.  I was placed in a crate in a car and we headed north.  We were met by another car.  Many loving people transported me from West Virginia to Pennsylvania.

I finally ended up with my new mommy. She really helped me adjust to my new home.  She always tells me how much she loves me and that I am now in my forever home.  I have made many new friends.  When my mommy and me go for walks I often hear people calling my name and come running to greet me!

I am thankful for my new mommy and Furry Friends Network.  If it wasn’t for them I do not know what my fate would have been.   Now even though I am happy I cannot help but think of all the other homeless animals that are less fortunate than I am.

Furry Friends Network is trying to help as many of them as they can.  But they need help from loving people like my mom.  There are a lot of caring people that volunteer to help.   But as many as they have it is still not enough.    Please ask Furry Friends Network about adopting or fostering today.
