Although our volunteers work tirelessly year round to raise funds to support our mission, FFN's annual “Strikes for Strays” Bowl-a-thon and “Race for Their Lives” Charity Run and Walk generate a substantial portion of our operating funds to help homeless and unwanted animals. Strikes for Strays is a late winter event that provides a great afternoon of bowling, fun, food, games and prizes to help support the FFN mission. The goal of our early fall “Race for Their Lives” 5K Run and 2-Mile Fun Walk is to increase awareness of the plight of homeless and unwanted animals and to raise funds for veterinary services for animals under our care and for spay/neuter surgeries to break the cycle of homeless cat colonies in our area. Both are great events formatted for the entire family.
